what about all the stuff that was injected into her neck/underchin to bloat
it up? 😮 does it stay in there till it naturally dissolves or smth?? 😮
can someone explain to meee? :/ sorry i’m not too good with this, :/
The fluid injected contains chemicals to liquify fat and to numb the area.
This will cause swelling. After the procedure is complete, the liquid is
removed but a minimal amount may remain for which your body absorbs.
Swelling naturally occurs secondary to trauma. Majority of edema subsides
at 2 months.
The surgical patient disliked the lack of definition in contour of her
neck secondary to excess adipose (fat). Therefore, Dr. Salzman recommended
this procedure for optimal results.
This is one of our in-office procedures so this patient was given a
prescription of Valium. Since anesthesia was not involved in this procedure
sleep apnea would not be a concern. If a patient with sleep apnea is
needing to have a procedure done with an anesthetic it would be best to
consult with a anesthesiologist if there are any risks involved.
I am a past patient of Dr. Salzman’s. He does great work. I am very happy
and recommend him to everyone!
