I have a question, I have a small lump of cartilage that protrudes from
behind my ear that pushes against the lower side of my scalp, what
procedure is available ?
@newyorksucks100 The price varies, depending on the need pf hospital
fzcility (children) or office based surgery. The spectrum is about $600 to
$10000.
There are teaching hospitals that will reduce fees ( no surgeon’s fee) but
hospital costs. Contact your local medical school that has a plastic
surgery or ENT residency program. JES
Could you help me find a medical school that offers these types of
services? I don’t know if Indiana University does or Indiana/Illinois, do
you who I could ask or what the process is like? Please help me out Thanks
so much!
that is no guarantee the surgeon is good at a given procedure, its merely
the minimum they should have, fter that its down to experience and surgical
skill with specific procedures.
I am due to start my undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science in UK in
September. I am so fascinated by surgery, you changed the patients life
completely. And I know people will see it’s only the ears but people will
look at the patient differently, meaning that the patient may marry and
have children with someone different than if the patients ears were not
‘pinned back’. Also the patient will feel more confident in themselves and
so more likely to be the true person inside of them and so wi
Is it possible to get my ears reduced in size and also pinned back. I dont
want them only pinned back because that doesnt help with reducing size of
my ears.
I had this surgery done several months ago, of course I was under
anesthetic the whole time, so I was curious as to what exactly was going
on. No wonder my ears were in so much pain up until a few weeks after!!!

It i hard to tell without seeing it. Certainly it can be removed. It just
depends on the location and the size.

an interest in ears

Hello doctor! I’d like to ask if it is too late for me to have this
surgery, I’m 17.
Is there any other way without surgery or is there another way with surgery
? If there is can u tell me which one will hurt more
There are other methods. The choice depends on your needs and the comfort
of the surgeon. Pain is similar each way.
How much costs this surgery? I’m a 15 years old guy
